Welcome to Christ Community Church website!  In Christ community, needs are being met, friendships are being built, and lives are being changed as the spirit of God ministers through worship, prayer and the ministry of the word.

There is an Answer

We at  Christ Community Church, are a group of believers who enjoy worship, singing, and the Word of God in a loving atmosphere. We believe that Jesus Christ through His Word, the Bible, supplies the answers and the Power to enjoy a New Life by His Spirit.   We are living in a world that is filled with problems, sickness, troubled relationships, fears, stress and loneliness, not only on the national and local scene, but also in our families and personal lives. Many have tried social change, recreation, and even religious involvement to their emptiness and bring happiness, with no real success.   Jesus declared,”…he that thirsts let him come…” The thirst that Jesus talked about is a desire for God given change. The Apostle Paul put it this way,”… old things are passed away; behold all things become new…” Jesus desired to bring new answers for old problems.   Our goal is to offer you more than just religious and social activity, but an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ through life changing experience. We would like you and your family to worship with us, and find out that you too can experience New Life through Jesus Christ.   Find out for yourself what Pentecost is all about. You will not be disappointed. Jesus Christ is the answer.

The way we Worship

We pray together aloud because… In the Bible we read, “they lifted up their voice to god in one accord…”          Acts 4:24  We lift our hands in praise because… In the Bible we read… “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”  Psalm 134:2  We sing with all of our hearts because… In the Bible we read… “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” Psalm 98:4  We clap and shout unto God because… In the Bible we read… “O clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” Psalm 47:1  We dance in the spirit because… In the Bible we read… “Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.” Psalm 150:4   We anoint with oil for divine healing because… In the Bible we read… “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14  We allow the operation of the Spiritual Gifts because… In the Bible we read… “When ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation…” I Corinthians 14:26

Statement Of Belief

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16) The Bible is the only God-given authority that man possesses; therefore, all doctrine, faith, hope and all instruction for the church must be based on, and harmonize with, the Bible. (2 Peter 1:20-21)   We believe in one eternal God; infinite in power, holy in nature attributes and purpose; possessing absolute, invisible deity. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father in creation; through His Son, in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit, by emanation. (1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6; Corinthians 5:19)   The basic and fundamental doctrine of New Life United Pentecostal Church is the Bible standard of full salvation, which is in repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:38)   Godly living should characterize the life of every child of God and we should live according to the pattern and example given in the Word of God. (Titus 2:11-12)   We shall endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come into the unity of the faith, at the same time admonishing the church that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body. (Ephesians 4:3)

A Place Of Worship

We meet together to focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and receiving His blessing and inspiration. We hope this is what you experience today.

A Place Of Learning

The Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually. We believe it and accept it as god’s Word to us, a Book that is alive and relevant to life today.
A Place of Friendship

We make friendship a priority, building lasting bonds between the members of our church family; bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another. Best of all, the circle of care is ever-widening. We’d love for it to include you, also.

A Place Of Service

Just as Jesus Christ came “not to be ministered unto, but to minister…” we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others. We look forward to serving you.
